Be Presently Sensual

You guys, I have been slacking a little on this blog. I haven’t quit though, so I am still winning at life right? Just let me tell you, I have started about 15 drafts in these past few weeks. So currently I have a plethora of topics to choose from, so you just wait.

The problem is I haven’t fully felt any of them. I start writing and I lose it. I have been lost in my mind a little and that’s what is causing my writing block. But this morning I turned on a home yoga video by, “Cat Meffan,” I am really feeling her home yoga routines, besides her having the best accent ever, she is really talented and makes sure to address all skill levels. So basically any of you can start doing these videos at your home, in your jammies if you would like, that was me this morning. Check out my Insta story for that beauty lol. It’s one of the many reasons I like to yoga at home.

Love this Lady

I’m so glad I chose to turn this video on this morning. In the beginning of this video Cat has you sitting on your heels and placing your hands on the top of your thighs. Telling you to focus on what you are feeling through your finger tips, fingers, palms, and thighs. It forces you to be in the moment and get rid of that racing mind.

She Say’s “Being Sensual is often mixed up with being sexual, being sensual is just being aware of any touch and how it feels.” Learning to be sensual will help you be present in the moment with whatever you are touching. Go ahead and giggle a little, I know I am as I’m typing this lol. But this could work in so many situations. If you think about it, you are always touching something, every second of the day. No matter if you are standing or sitting. Learning to be more presently sensual could improve your life in an amazing way. Learning to be present in any moment will help alleviate a lot of your stresses. About 99.9% of the time, we create our own mind blocks, heart blocks, and life stresses. So that means that we are the ones who can help ourselves live less stressful days, imagine that :).

Doing this video this morning pulled me out a little from the stuck place I have been in or at least gave me a little hope and a little reminder that I’m not totally lost in my thoughts.

Practicing yoga is one thing that has helped me these past few years. It will teach you to take a moment to be present and appreciate your body. Appreciate that you can feel your body, and that you are strong enough to hold yourself up. It will show you that you are able to breath in happiness, relaxation, and to breath out your worries and fears. Any Negative energies that you may be holding onto will get released. No one should be holding onto those. Life is too awesome for that.

It won’t happen in one session, but it will over time. It has to become a habit, work it into your daily routine. Make it a priority. No matter the stress you are going through, you can push through it with some mindfulness and a kick ass workout. Not only will you mentally and physically feel better, you will start loving the way your body looks as well. Give your mind and body what it needs to thrive in this world. Be Sensually Present in life!

OMG , I actually finished a post and about to hit publish…. go me lol
Little victories for the win. Have a great day friends. I’m ending with this quote from one of my favorite Movies, “A Dogs Purpose”

Whenever possible, find someone to save, and save them. Lick the ones you love. Don’t get all sad-faced about what happened and scrunchy-faced about what could. Just be here now.

  1. Every writer understands the problem of writing block. The good thing is you aren’t ready to quit. That’s a good. And finding inspiration like in the things you do like the yoga, is a good way of clinging back to your writing.
