Have you ever thought about what life would feel like without any Love in it? Would we even know the difference, or would we feel the sadness of it never existing?
If you open your eyes and look around, you will notice that love is around every corner. It’s in the way your puppy looks at you, or jumps for joy when you finally get home after being gone for hours. It’s the butterflies you feel deep in your soul after seeing that one special person. It’s in the way you smile at a little child, and they smile back. It’s the way you feel when your grandma hugs you. It’s in the way your best friend gives you advice, or simply listens to your worries. It’s in our hearts when we watch others dancing around in their own happiness. It’s in the way our souls light up when we do a good deed for another, or someone does a good deed for us. Love is literally everywhere we turn.
This world can be a cold dark place at times but the one thing I have never stopped feeling is the love surrounding me. Sometimes I honestly feel like I may burst with love, and then all my love will spill over onto others. If I fail to share my love with others who knows what may happen. It could be life altering lol.
I will admit I have had times where I have had so many emotions soaring through my soul that I didn’t know what to do with them all. Sometimes it can be overwhelming. I want to help the kitty on the side of the road, even though I am a dog lover. I want to have children, and fill their hearts & minds up with all the love I have building up inside my body. I want to reach out to that person who is crying during our yin yoga session. I want to donate to every cause that I come accross. I want to be able to take the pain away from my loved ones.
Love has a never ending power, and I constantly have this urge to share my love. It’s never going away, and I’m finally OK with that. It’s who I am. It’s who I was meant to be.
“Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy. That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody’s business. What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy.”
― Thomas Merton
Don’t ever let hatred, anger, hurt, jealousy, lack of knowledge or heartbreak ruin who you are. Let your body feel the hurt and confusion. Let yourself be broken at times, but always always keep taking that next step forward. Never stop letting people in, and let them feel the love you have to share with them. Never stop spreading your love in world. This world needs it, and so do you!
Let love be your religion because it’s Everywhere and Going Nowhere. ❤️
